I don't think you can take a bad picture when you have a baby as cute as this one.

Soccer Mom!

Well I am finally a soccer mom.  I always loved playing soccer and now I have a son who is playing.  I have to remind myself that he is only four and is playing with four and five year olds.  Just as long as he is having fun then that is all that matters.  He plays with some kids from church so that makes it a lot of fun for him to have his friends playing with him.  Josh is the coach so we are all in.

They picked there team name and decided on the Coyotes.  I have to say he looks really cute in his soccer uniform.

In this picture he is waiting on the hill for gramps and gram to get to the game.

He wanted to play goalie so he could be like mom but then realized it might not be so much fun. Wherever he wants to play is fine with me.

Here is is little team after the game.

Evans Turns 4!

On Evan's Birthday we took him to the Fun Factory and let him play.  He had a great time.

We had a birthday party the Saturday before his birthday with some of his friends.  They played pin the spiderman on the web.

Evan had a Spiderman cupcake cake with his friends and he had a Ben 10 cake on his birthday.  I think he figured out that mom actually buys the figures to put on the cake and so he decided to change the type of cake he wanted for both days.

Evan is a good boy and he is very smart.  He enjoys going to preschool and loves to swim.  We have started him in soccer this fall and he has a lot of fun with his friends.  He is a great big brother and loves Jake very much.  He is a good little helper and always checks on Jake if he is crying to make sure he is okay.  We love Evan and don't know what we would do without him.

Two Weeks

One Month- 7 pounds 14 ounces 20 3/4 inches

Two Months- 9 pounds 11 ounces 22 1/4 inches
At Jakes two month appointment he finally weighed more than Evan did when he was born (9lbs 7oz).

They grow too fast!

Evan the Big Brother

Evan is a good big brother and loves to help with his brother.  At first we had to supplement a little bit with formula to make sure Jake was going to gain weight.  Here is Evan helping with a bottle.

He loves to hold him whenever he can.....

...And give him kisses.

Don't mess with my brother.
I have a feeling Evan will protect Jake.

A big day for all of us!

August 14, 2012 was a big day for all of us.  It started out with Evan going to his first day of preschool.  Josh and I dropped him off and got him settled.  He was very excited.  Then Mom and Dad were off to the hospital for our scheduled c-section.  Evan's picture says:  Today I am a big brother.  He was so excited and couldn't wait to hold Jake.  Gram and Gramps picked him up from school and brought him to the hospital where they waited patiently for us.

San Diego, Mission Beach, Sea World, and San Diego Temple Part 3

After we got done with Sea World saturday night we went on an excursion to find the San Diego Temple.  This is a beautiful temple.  I thought you would be able to see it from anywhere but as you drive to it you see that they have it down (don't know how to explain but it is like it is in a hole).  But when you get close there is no missing it.

This was the next morning.  This was supposed to be Evan's sad face because we were leaving.  We got up early so that we could make it to church for Father's Day.  Evan was able to sing to his dad.  He didn't sleep the whole way home.

This was after church and dinner.  Evan fell asleep originally on the couch but then didn't want to wake up and ran to his bed.  He went right back to sleep and didn't wake up until the next morning.  Too bad it was at 6:30 am.

San Diego, Mission Beach, Sea World and San Diego Temple Part 2

We went to Sea World Saturday.  The first thing we looked at was the dolphins.  The date was actually the 16th but my camera wasn't set right.

The sky tower

Blue Horizons show.  This was Evan's favorite show because it had dolphins in it.

Evan evan got to ride Shipwrek Rapids.  He wasn't quite tall enough but they let him go anyway.  He is 41 inches and he needed to be 42.  He is the one in the left upper corner with Josh.  I coudn't go on any rides because I was pregnant but that is ok.

Evan touching a star fish.

Evan was excited to see the shark exhibit but once we got in here he wasn't to sure about it.

Bayside Skyride.  I actually got to ride this one.  It took us over the bay where we
could see boats and other watertoys that people were enjoying.

Evan at Sea Lions Live just before the show started.

One Ocean-  This was one of the shows that we watched Shamu.  By this time of the day we were hot so we sat in the splash zone.  As Evan would say, "Shamu got us wet".  But it felt good.

Evan and Josh riding the Elmo ride.  I promise evan was on there too.

Playing in Sesame Street Bay of Play

Going on Wild Artic.  There was a part where you could go
into a pretend ice cave that a polor bear would sleep in.
You could hear the noises of a polar bear. Evan didn't want to
anything to do with this.
