Party with Friends!
Evan also had a great birthday party with his friends. The kids had a good time swimming (probably for the last time this year). As you can see they also like the frosting on the cupcakes.
Happy 3rd Birthday!

Evan turned three. His main present from mom and dad was his bike. He loves to ride the bike and is getting very good at it. It is a Lightening McQueen bike with training wheels.

I made a Toy Story cake this year. It is supposed to be a rocket. I think it turned out good and Evan loved it.

Playing with the toys from the cake.
At his three year old checkup he was:
36.6 pounds and 38 1/2 inches. He is a big boy.
Birthday Activities
We went to Cracker Jack's for Evan's Birthday. He said that he wanted to go golfing so we tried Miniture Golf. He wasn't too sure about it so luckily we got our money back because we didn't make it past the first hole. Then we went to the bumper boats which he loved. After the bumper boats he wanted to go ride the go-carts with his dad or gramps but he was too short to ride with them and just tall enough to ride in the little ones by himself. The steering wheel was a little hard to turn so he only went around twice. After all this fun we went to gram and gramps for lunch and a little swim. Evan loves to swim.

Birthday Cake.

In this picture below, Evan is singing Happy birthday to himself. It was cute. We got a video of it so hopefully we can hear him.I think he liked his cake by the expression on his face.
Blowing out the candle.
Digging in.
Here are the pictures of Evan's Birthday cake. I decided to do a CARS theme this year because he loves this movie. It is one of the first that he watched and he loves it. I made a 2 out of chocolate and sprinkled green on for grass. I also used broken pieces of Butterfinger to make rocks. I think it turned out pretty good.
The round piece at the end was just for Evan and he loved it.
Evan got a lot of fun presents. He got toy cars from the Movie Cars, a little four wheeler that he can push around, some shirts, train set and track, and books. I think he have a great day. His Grandma Barbara "mamas"as he calls her also came and spent a week with us for his birthday.
Birthday activities

For Evan's birthday we asked him what he wanted to do and he said horses. He loves riding the carosel at the mall.
He also played at the play area for a while. After we rode the carosel the first time we told the lady running it that it was his Birthday. She said, "You should have told me, I would have let him ride for free". So we went back after the play area and rode again.

Happy 2nd Birthday Evan!
Last night as I satwith Evan before he fell asleep, he asks me to sing happy birthday "again". Whenever he likes something he says "again". I hope he had a fun 2nd birthday. I can't believe he is already 2. He had so much fun opening presents and with each one he just wanted to stop and play. He loves the movie cars so I made a cake that had the number 2 for the road and had Lightning and Sally racing. (I will put up pics later). We had a good day and i could tell Evan didn't want it to end. Happy birthday Evan I Love you.
