Our Boy!

It is almost time for Easter and Evan had some fun playing with plastic eggs last Sunday.
Evan's new trick in the swing is to grab and hold on to the bar. Hence there isn't very much swinging involved.
We went for a short walk the other day. It was a little warm so we didn't go very far.
I trimmed Evan's hair the other day because it was getting too wild in the back to do anything with. I kept the little curly pieces. You can see how his hair curls a little bit when wet.

This was today and he looked so cute in his Sunday outfit.

Evan's first Baseball Game!

I was just playing with Evan's hair on this day. I was trying to spike it up but it just didn't work. Oh well. You can't tell in this picture but it is getting lighter. I wonder what color of hair he will have.
We put a blanket out on the lawn last Sunday to take some pictures.
Evan is very good at holding himself up. This last week he rolled from back to stomach. He did it so fast that I didn't get it on camera. I wasn't even expecting it.

Evan went to his first baseball game. We went to a Spring Training game. The Indians and Padres played. Evan did pretty good. It was nice to be out in the sun. There was a light breeze so it wasn't too hot. We got the tickets from my work.
Evan liked hanging out with Kathy and the rest of the gang. He found his tongue. He likes to stick it out. He has also been licking his lips and making the mmm sound. So cute!

Evan is Five Months Old

Evan has been eating rice and oatmeal cereal. As you can see in this picture, it is all over his face. But he likes it. Evan has been sitting up by himself for short periods of time. He likes playing with his soccer ball.
This is the picture of Evan at 5 months with the bear. He is almost bigger than the bear now.

In this picture Evan was eating squash for the first time. And well, he hit the spoon and the squash ended up on his face.

Evan is getting stronger every day.

Evan's First Valentines Day and more!

Evan is starting to learn how to sit up by himself. He leans a little too much forward though but he is getting the hang of it.

Josh surpised me with a picture of him and Evan in a frame for me for Valentines day. I put in on my test.

This is the one they picked for me. It is so cute, both of them with a big smile.

Evan has been working on his Yoga pose. He lifts his head and his feet up off the floor and holds it. I really think he is trying to set up.

The other day Evan fell asleep in the swing holding his bunny. This was just before he fell asleep.

Evan has fun on Valentine's day. He spent the day with Mom and Dad. At night he went over to Gram and Gramps house. We all had a wonderful day.

Evan found his Feet and Hands!

This was a picture from last Sunday that I forgot to put on here. He had on his cute monkey bib that matched with his outfit.
He has also been sucking on his hands a lot and may be teething.
He has been playing on the floor more with his toys while I do some work.
He loves to pull his feet up by his mouth and chew on his socks. I often notice that his socks are wet because he has been sucking on them.

I thought this picture was cute because it looks like he is saying, "I got my sock Mom"

Evan to the Park!

We took Evan to the park for the first time. We had an activity with the church and we ate and played kickball. This first picture is actually the day before.

Evan liked swinging. At first he didn't know what to think because it was so sqweaky but he got used to it.

And again he has his hands in his mouth but I thought this picture was so cute.

Evan and his Dad went down the slide a few times. I don't know what Evan thought of it.
Evan didn't fall to sleep until the very end.

Evan slept in his crib for the first time. He was sleeping in the bassinet but it was getting a little crowded. He liked the crib because he was all stretched out.
I'm a Mormon.
