Evan hitting Pinata

We went to the Vaterlaus family reunion this year. Evan got to do a lot of fun things. There was a bounce house, he made his own rocket and shot it off about a 100 times, and he got to hit the pinata. He even waited patiently for his turn.

Mother's day Pictures

These were pictures that I took for Mother's day presents. I think they turned out pretty good. They are just Evan being Evan so I think they turned out pretty good.

Summer is here!

Today for memorial day we had family over to swim and barbecue. Evan loved going down the slide with the water on. I can tell that we will be one tired boy this summer, going down the slide climbing out then running to the slide again to go down again (he doesn't quite understand the whole walk around the pool concept but we are working on it).

He is also potty training and he is doing a very good job. I can tell he is so proud of himself when he goes in his potty chair. I think it is funny that his main incentive is that he gets to flush the toilet when he is done. I am so proud of him.

Evans says the funniest things

Evan says the funniest things. One day he spilled his drink of watery and he days "that's great". Yesterday Josh was exercising with the exercise ball and Evan asked him for s snack. I guess he got tired of waiting so he tool the ball and said"you can have this back after you gets my snack".

Evan is so close to being able to roll over when he is swimming. I think he has the backslide to stomach roll now just for stomach to back roll. He is doing so good in swim class, he pays attention to his teacher and doesn't try to get away like the other boy. Way to go Evan

The Zoo with Picasa

Some of my favortie pictures from the zoo. Also trying to figure out Picasa. I think I am liking it better than Photoshop because it does things easier.

Backfloating

Evan is backfloating. I go swimming with him during his lessons. He is now getting to the point where it will do whatever the teacher wants and will do nothing for me. I think it is time for the big boy class.

Phoenix Zoo 2011

While my mom and sister were in town we had a lot of fun. One day we went to the Phoenix Zoo. We got the Culteral pass at the library so we only had to pay for one. Great deal.



This bamboo was funny. It just sat there by us on the other side of the glass. When my sister BreAnn put her hand up on the glass by the divider it smacked the glass and scared her to death. Evan didn't want to leave.
