Mother's day Pictures for me!

One of my Mother's Day gifts was a frame to put a picture that would be taken at a later date in.  So last Sunday before church we went to a park to take some pictures of these two.  They are quite a pair.
This one looks like Evan is going to bite Josh's ear.

Maybe that ear didn't taste so good.

It was a nice sunny day.
This is the picture I chose for my picture frame that now sits
my desk.

Birthday Surprise!

For my mom's 50th birthday we planned a surprise trip to Colorado.  This was the Sunday before her birthday and we decided to take some family pictures.

Grandma Sissom, grandkids, and great grandkids.

My sister Shelly and her family.

My Aunt Vicki and her family.

My Mom and her kids minus my sister BreAnn who came the next weekend.

My mom's 50th Birthday cake.  She was surprised.

My mom with her four kids.  This was all she wanted for her birthday.  I am glad we could make it happen.

My sister BreAnn and her Fiance Jairo.

New cement at Grandma's house and we got to put our hands in it.  Evan even stepped on it on accident and has the print of his Lightning McQueen shoes.

Evan makes us laugh!

Last night as we were reading from the old testament children's story book and reading the story of king David and Uriah. Every time Josh would say Uriah Evan would say "I am not riah" and we would say "not you-riah uriah". He had us laughing.

Don't want to forget!

Well I just wanted to write this down before I forget and it has taken me two months to do it but here it is.

Christmas eve we told Evan that we needed to get home quick because if we were not there Santa would not leave any presants. He fell asleep in the car but when we got home he woke up just to look around and say "Oh good we made it." Then the next morning after seeing the presants Santa brought he said, "I need to call Santa and tell him thank you." So I worked it out and Santa called and Evan said, "Thank you Santa for my presants." I was so happy to hear he come up with this on his own to say thank you. Then Christmas night he said, "we have to get home so Santa will bring presants." I tried to explain that he wouldn't be coming again until next year. Then this song came on the radio. Santa Clause is coming to town. So Evan says, "see Santa is coming."

Evan is such a smart boy and I love him more everyday.

Colorado New Year with Grandpa

I had fun taking pictures with my new features on my camera. I thought this sunset turned out pretty cool.

We went to Bayfield Colorado to see my Dad. It was also a good chance
to take Evan to play in the snow for the first time. We had a lot of fun even though
there wasn't any fresh snow.

Evan loves putting the snow in his mouth and climbing through it.

Evan and our cousin Hayden both playing with the technology.

Evan and Dad got stuck in the snow bank.

Evan going getting ready to go down a little hill all by him self. He called the sled his board.

Looking for hills to go down.

Mom, Evan and Grandpa Tim having a good time.

We are glad that we got to go spend time with my Dad. We had a fun time playing in the snow and spending time together.

Meet Woody!

Before Halloween I asked Evan what he wanted to be. He said, "Woody". Well lucky enough Josh's grandma has made a lot of costumes in her time. She made Josh's and his brother's costumes when they were little. Last year she made Evan's Robin Hood Costume which he wasn't to happy about wearing (Just the age I think). Well this year I was a little scared that he would do the same thing and not wear this one but he put it right on without a problem. He got to wear it three times. Once at Josh's work Halloween party, the trunk or treat, and on Halloween night. These pictues were from Halloween night. We went with Shambri around her neighborhood. He didn't like carrying his Halloween bag so he used his hat to get candy. The people must have felt bad for him because everytime he wouldget candy there wouldn't be anything in the hat so they would give him a lot, then we would put the candy in his bag.
We also got him to say, "Howdy Partner" when the people would open their doors. He didn't say Trick or Treat very much. One time I got him to say, "There is a snake in the boot". He got a few laughs from that.

We had fun going around with Shambri and we are glad that she invited us to go with you. We had a lot of fun and Evan got a lot of candy.
